Job offering // Plein Theater is looking for a barcoordinator

For 12 to 24 hours a week as a paid on-call worker

Going to the theater is more than just watching a show. Our café/restaurant next to the theater is open from Thursday to Sunday and has been a meeting place for locals and theater public for more than 40 years. The 'Eetlokaal' is located in the basement floor that was part of the staff canteen of the former Amstel Brewery Complex between 1871 and 1968. Outside we have a sheltered terrace adjacent to Sajetplein with a children's playground. In the middle of the neighborhood, around the corner from the Oosterpark and close to the center of Mokum.

Since May 2024, we have opened again from Thursday to Sunday with a food menu and in addition to a weekly program in the theater, activities are regularly organized in the Eetlokaal. Your ideas and input are very welcome. In addition to stimulating the taste buds, we pay a lot of attention to a hospitable meeting place with a friendly atmosphere, where people feel welcome and at home.

We are looking for an experienced bar coordinator for our Eetlokaal as a paid on-call worker who, together with a few other bar coordinators, is responsible for running the bar.
